As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Feeling Good... Monday, October 21

Despite having had the big rugby tournament on Saturday and then rugby practice on Sunday, I feel pretty good.  I mean, level 8 on my pain scale is the new 5 and my fingers hurt on the daily, but I'm not having any issue tolerating any pain or stiffness.  Now the bruise on my left knee, that's a bit of a different story.  Thankfully it's moreso on the insider part of my knee and not smack dab on the middle of the knee cap.

Boxing this morning.
Coaching before and after boxing.
And then rugby with the Lady Volcanoes, the national Philippine team.

I was anticipating the head coach of the national team to be present there tonight.  I really was curious as to what he'd say about our tournament on Saturday.  He wasn't there though.  I was disappointed about that.  I'm not able to train with them on Wednesday this week because it's earlier and I'm anticipating doing a crash course at Pretty HUGE Obstacles for the Spartan race this weekend.
