As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

"The Dress"... Thursday, November 7

As I walked up to my home, with Cassius and Rousey on leashes by my side, a SUV pulled up to my house.  "Did you find a dress yet?" the driver yelled out the front window.  Up until that moment, I had never met this woman but there she was, outside my house, asking me the golden question of the week -- do I have a dress?!  Turns out she saw my posting on the Mahagony III Facebook group page so when she thought she'd extend her help and approach me.  How sweet is she, seriously?!  Super sweet.

Between the overdose of kids that came to my house for trick or treat on Halloween weekend and my neighbours reaching out to me to set me up with a dress, I definitely made the right move moving into Acacia Estates.

Today more dresses came, upping the hunt for the right dress and confirming just how awesome people are.  I was super touched.  A driver arrived with a back seat full of dresses and he waited outside my house while I scurried upstairs to try on the massive mound of dresses.

I think I have a winner.
