As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Working on the Sheep... Tuesday, November 5

Spent most of my day working on Baa Baa Black Sheep, all the behind-the-scene work that people don't see but that preoccupies my thoughts and consumes my energy these days.

Hoping to officially and publicly launch the website this week but I'm still waiting for the samples of two items to come back.  I need to snap shots of them for the site.  I was anticipating launching the line with 6 items but it looks like it will only be 4 items.  My manufacturer is having issues finding materials for the last two items.

Baa Baa Black Sheep is a smart athletic line for both girls and guys... gurls and guys... boss babes and athletes.  It's not to be confused with leisure wear.  When I think of leisure wear, I think of athletic clothing that people who don't actually workout wear -- clothing that makes them look athletic but without having actually put the work into being an athlete.  It's lazy wear, in my head at least.  My clothing line isn't lazy wear.  If anything, it is the polar opposite.  My girl or guy is a modern one on the go, slaying it at the gym with being a boss babe at work and then juggling a million and one other things in life.  They're on the go so their clothes have to be functional but they also want to look good so it has to be fashionable.  That is who my clothing line is for.
