As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Wuss.

First of all...I'm not a Wuss.
Secondly, no I didn't jump on the "if only..." Korean soccer bandwagon. I was showing my support and just commenting how I think it's ironic they march out with a "play fair" banner and yet nothing is ever done truly fair.
And third of all, I deleted your comment cause well, some of us don't really care for your cheap English. So learn some real English (that is afterall what you're hear doing... supposedly teaching English.. learn it then) and then come back with some comments. As much as I like a good argument, I don't care for swearing.

Thanks but NO thanks.

"...learn some real English (that is afterall what you're hear doing... supposedly teaching English.."

Yawn. Here. Hear. Different. How shocking, a spelling mistake in a post berating my English abilities.

To make this brief, you constantly contradict yourself over your love of Korea (good on ya, for the love) and your frustration over being mistaken as Russian (told ya!) or being discriminated against because you're white. Its not an identity crisis, its a genetic predisposition.

Ah... Mr. Anonymous, you're back AGAIN! Great!

As for my shifting feelings towards Korea... tell me you've never been too sure on something! Yes I've experienced some "interesting" things here but who hasn't. I still stick to my original statement... I love Korea.

As for YOU... I'm really starting to like ya, honestly. I find great amusement in the stupidity of us knocking down each other's thoughts and feelings when that's all they are... personal ideas, not facts.

Let's see who has the last word now!

There is no last word to be had when you don't assert anything in the first place.

... was that your last word?

Considering that you didn't really give me any fuel for the fire, I guess so. Until then, I guess I'll always be the pathetic white male living in Korea that you loath so much.

.... what did you say your name was? Do I know you....hmmm, I think I do.

You don't. And won't.
