As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I really should throw in a clear before picture of what this river looked like before the massive rainfall. It's been raining for the past few days straight and this is a shot I took of it after the rain had already raised the river quite a bit.

And here's another after rain picture. Note that only the top couple of steps are visible. I should add here that in both pictures the rocks in the middle of the river which I cross at least twice a day are fully immersed in the water. In the second shot though, the plants that have bombarded the river bed are also fully immersed.

The weather forecast says it's suppose to rain every single day this week, minus Saturday that is. And here I thought Korea's rainy season was over. Looks like we got an overdose of it this year... yikes!!!
