As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I sported a lot of mean grins today but leave it to my boxing to kick those frustrations to the curb.

Hi Amy,
It’s good to correspond with you again. I’d love to chat sometime if you are ever on. What kind of thing do you have again? MSN?
I still train and I’m still learning. Mostly with Shauna. I entered one amateur round robin type tournament and lost in round 3.
I read your confrontation with that girl at the temp job thing. I don’t blame you for being mad. Good for her you didn’t punch her out. Heh heh.
Your pictures look great girl. I’m so glad you keep up your boxing. I think you are a real inspiration for me. Your arms look great. Have to have them for the boxing I know.
Hope to hear from you.

Beth

Yo Beth,
How's my fellow fighter-girl friend? Hope you're training hard and thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much for all your kind words. I am so flattered to be an inspiration to you but your continual kind words really help to fuel my fire and passion for boxing. As you know, there are days we ALL experience -- the good, the bad and the ugly. It's nice to know that you're backing me up, as I hope I do for you too.

I use MSN... look me up, Flipsidegirl@rocketmail.com.

I'd say sorry to you losing but it's all a part of the experience of boxing, as you for sure probably know. Learn from it and use it to improve!

Oh, I was definitely mad with the whole temp job situation but I tried my hardest to keep my cool. I literally was an inche away from punching her, seriously.

Like always, I hope all is well with you and that you're continually to train hard and give it your all.
