As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Here's a couple of pictures of some pictures for you.

This first one is a picture of one of the shots taken of me today at my boxing fight promotional photo shoot.

This next shot is of a game poster for a tournament that the Cheonan Bulldog will be fighting in. I'll be exactly one week prior to my game so December will be a great action-packed month.

Before I know anything about this fight or about boxing for that matter, I'm going to put my money on the Koreans. Make sure you let me know who wins ;)

Sweet pic btw

Hi Jennifer,
Not sure whether to say thanks or to send you a good old head kick to you over the web. Which exactly fight are you betting on the Koreans?!

Hi Amy,
I love that photo of you. Soft but deadly I would call it. You look ready to go. I'm always amazed at how your arms look great either relaxed or when flexing. I admire that dedication you have.
I recognize the girl on the right. I think that is Jennifer Barber who is really good and fast. I saw a clip of her knocking out this blonde girl a while back. She's fast as heck I tell you.
Once again you look great. :)

I mean the fight between Jihye vs. Jennifer and Taekmin vs. James.

Since the fight is held in Korea.....I'm guessing the Koreans will win.

I'm talking about politics here.

(save your punches for your fight!) GOOD LUCK!!!

Did that WHY AM I HERE??? person just call you SOFT? Hmmm. They said it best in their ID -- why are they here???
By the way, Amos doesn't need your GOOD LUCK. Save that for the untrained.

ahhhhhhh hahahahaha! inferences inferences inferences ;)

I guess you don't know much about Korea anony. because Amy has also mentioned in one of her videos and on her homepage about unfair advantage of foreigners fighting in Korea. My comment about who my bets are on has nothing to do with Amy's fight.

Never have I once said anything negative about her training and love for boxing. And I if you read my comment again you can even see that my reference to Amy's boxing came in the form of a compliment to her picture. I don't know how or why she thought my comment was offensive but it certainly wasn't meant to do harm. So quick to jump and point fingers at someone who has read and supports Amy's boxing from the beginning Mr./Mrs. Anony. YIKES.

Geez Amy your famous anony. commenters certainly take precedent. Insulting anony commenters who attach ppl that support me.......PUBLISH BUTTON. Huh?

I see nothing wrong with wishing Amy good luck on her fight. Okay I take that back........화이팅 에이미!!!!

Hey EVERYONE,
Thanks for the compliments but ease up on throwing negative comments at each other. Want to fight?! Come join me in the ring then... hahaha.

Hi Jennifer,
Trust me, I didn't take your original comment as an insult, I was just joking around with you cause your comment could have been read differently. No worries though.
Don't worry about it, I don't. People are always going to say whatever they want to say. You can't please everyone so don't bother to please anyone but yourself, that's what I say.
For the most part I publish all my comments I get. There's only some cases when I won't, like if the comment is too personal or is a private message to me or if the message is down right too harsh.
Thanks for the "Fighting Amy". I'll never forget that game poster you and your hubby made for me. I still have a picture of it on my computer... hahaha. It's awesome!
