As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Day of Blah... Monday, November 15

Hmmm… what did I do today that is note-worthy or worth scribbling down some points about on my homepage?! Nothing, absolutely nothing, and to prove it here’s the breakdown of my day.
4:40am – woke up, walked Mi Nam and then ate meal #1
5:50am – headed off to Samsung for tutoring
7:20am – finished tutoring and headed back home
8:00am – ate meal #2 and talked to Snickers on the phone for 20 minutes
8:30am – fell back asleep
10:00am – woke up to a phone call from my other Samsung VP—tutoring postponed while he moves office
10:15am - fell back asleep
1:00pm – woke up, ate meal #3, and watched the movie “Enough”
2:00pm - NATION WIDE PRACTICE BOMB RAID... TWICE!!!
3:15pm – meal #4 and then raced off to Asan for tutoring
4:00pm – tutored my Church Kiddies
5:30pm – meal #5
7:00pm – finished tutoring and then headed back home
7:30pm – arrived home and walked Mi Nam
8:00pm – meal #6 and studied Korean
9:00pm – headed off to boxing
10:30pm – finished boxing, ate a small meal #7, and did some homepaging
11:00pm – Snickers called
11:20pm – BEDTIME
Ya, as you can see from the above time breakdown, today was pretty.... BLAH. It's pretty brutal that the highlight of my day was the fact that Korea did not one but two practice bomb raids today. They blasted their sirens and it was pretty hard to ignore them. Mi Nam didn't seem impressed. He barked when they first went off which means he pretty much was the only Korean this practice bomb raid fazed. It doesn't really faze me anymore and I think that's kind of brutal.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What are you use to that you really shouldn't be use to?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Reality is the leading cause of stress amongst those in touch with it.
