As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Life doesn't wait for anybody.
So go out there and live life to the fullest. I guarentee you poor health and a lack of active life style will slow you down.

Still thinking about putting your health on hold?... what exactly are you putting it on hold for though?

Hi Amy,
Love these pictures of the fighters and the comments you made along with them. It's so true. Keep an active lifestyle and that's what I admire about how you go about training and pursuing the boxing etc. Not all are up to it. That top girl certainly looks fit and ready. Looks like some great abs on her. :)

Yo Beth,
Ya, they're STUNNING women -- strong IS beautiful!!! Honestly, I can't imagine myself without training hard and eating healthy. So many people take their youth and health for granted. I'm 30 -- oh gosh, I had to think about that for a minute there -- but I feel younger than I have in years!!! Living a healthy life has certainly upped my energy and I've yet to hear someone say I look like I'm 30.
