As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Nothing in Particular... Thursday, January 6

By 8:30am I had already been up for a couple of hours. I had already eaten two meals, walked Mi Nam, tutored, done a load of laundry, and had made my way back to bed.

Nothing really to talk about with regards to today's turn of events, and lack there of them.
Got in a good 10km run and did a lot of random cat napping today while Snickers headed off to boxing and then met up with his friends.

I only work one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays which to most sounds great but it's not so fun for me. I use to load up my free time with weight training, running and boxing, but with my left wrist being off limits for training, I'm basically only running these days. I'm sure I could get in some weight training and whatnot but I really don't want to push it. I really am hoping to get better asap so with the exception of the pain killers I refuse to take, I've been following the doctor's orders to a T. Snickers does wrist stretching and massage activities with me twice a day and I pretty much only take my brace off for showering and when I go running. Mind ya, now that my left hand is useless for the time being my right wrist has picked up the slack and is now the one that hurts. Dishes are done with one hand, as is laundry and other chores, and other things... like throwing kids out of my class.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What do you regret wishing for?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Too much of a good thing is a bad thing.

Hey Fabi!!!
Oh come on girl... you'd LOVE to be my student... hahaha. I don't honestly punch them, okay, so I do but I don't punch them hard. They seem to love it too though.
I hear ya about them pushing the limit if they know they can. I'm not a very strict teacher. I try to win my students over with respect and compassion but ya, sometimes my more tough side is put to the test.
