As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
Woke up, walked in the kitchen and this was the sight that greeted me. Snickers has never sported my housecoat before and where did Mi Nam score a Christmas scarf? Only one question though, what the heck was going on while I was sleeping?!

haha! i've been curious, why Snickers? I mean, where does the nickname come from? he likes the chocolate?
OMG! Cutest picture ever! They both look like they love mischief! (But in a good way. Hee hee!) I know Mi-nam has given you grief in the past but these two together must keep you laughing non-stop!

Why Snickers, you asked, well it goes back to when I first met him. I love Snicker chocolate bars. I love it because it's sweet, chewy and nutty but I know it's no good for me... just like Snickers. I thought he was sweet when I first met him but regarded him as a kind of bad boy. He lured me in with his sweetness but I thought he was bad news for me. I thought he'd only leave me heartbroken because of his bad boy ways. Oddly enough, I only indulge in eating a Snickers bar right before a boxing fight because I need the instant sugar rush to keep my blood-sugar levels elevated, so I had already had made a kind of connection between a Snickers bar and boxing.

Oh and they ARE both mischief. It's funny at how much both of them try to get away with. Snickers is really try hard to bond with Mi Nam -- taking him out for "boys-only" walks and giving him treats -- but we both know Mi Nam is such a mama's boy... hahaha.
