As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

It's Never JUST a 3-Hour Tour... Saturday, April 9

It was nice to jump in the car with my man and head off to the beach today. We had no real destination in mind and no real schedule, but we knew we wanted to go to the beach and we knew we wanted to gobble down some ocean goodies!!!

Despite it being very sunny, it was very chilly at the first beach we arrived at. And after a three hour drive out to the beach, joke was on us because we ended up heading back towards Cheonan, to a beach that we love to visit. It wasn't a total waste of time and gas though cause our ride was filled with lots of singing, joking, and dancing. Yes, we do what we've labelled as "top-bod-dancing"... I really got to video it... hahaha.

Looks like we weren't the only ones in a good dancing mood. Ran into an older man and a much older woman who were acting anything but normal at the beach. The woman was singing so loudly and as she sang her male friend was dancing. Good for them though, not caring what anyone thinks and just caring about having fun. It was hilarious watching them and guess what, I DID capture them on video... have yet to make anything of the taping though so stay tuned.

QUESTION OF THE DAY...
How much do you care about what others think about you?

QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections.
