Today's field trip was out to a local park -- a very large local park.
For the most part, both the Polack and I (the only two foreign workers at the daycare) are the only ones who are very physical with the mini-Koreans. I'm always picking them up and tickling, and they're just as physical with me... jumping on me, counting to see how long they can hang off my arm, and playing with my hair. They're so small though; the average kid weighing-in at 18kgs. Recently they've started to do this thing called "plane" by which they stick their arms out at their side and I pick them up, spinning them around the room and making a silly noise as if they were an airplane. They love it but it leaves me quite tired when you consider I get asked to do this about a dozen times a day by them.
Being out at the park meant our physical play was all that more physical, and not only did I have my own class of 21 mini-Koreans (got a new student this week) attacking me but I also had our brother class attacking me, for a grand total of about 40 mini-Koreans. It was a lot of fun but I left the field trip wanting nap time to hurry up and I left work all scratched-up from the day of play in the park.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
What's more fun than a barrel of monkeys?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression.
