As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A look back...

Sadly enough, I'm the only one in this picture who still trains at UP Boxing Club from this picture. Motor Cross is so busy trying to juggle his army duties and professional motorcycle racing. Milk Dud has since got married, had a baby, got divorced, and just finished his 2 years in the Korean army. Panty Boy Jr. reigned as the Korean Welter Weight Champion but has since stepped down from his thrown after pressure to "get a real job" from both his parents and Korea in general, and one of my ameteur boxing buddies committed suicide.

But since the above piecture was taken, a lot of good has happened too... the best being of course that I met Snickers. We took this picture a little while after we moved into Ggum Guum. I was actually trying to do a short video when all of a sudden what should happen but in slide Snickers, up the back of my shirt.
