Back in the day, when I was a three-foot-nothing and sporting G.I. Joes in my back pocket, school field trips consisted of the usual trip to the zoo, science center, or museum. Field trips for my mini-Koreans however kick my old skool trip to the zoo's butt!
Today's field trip took us to the KBS Studio in Suwon and it rocked. I'm talking about a testing out the visual effects in the blue room, exploring the multiple sets used for scenes we've all seen on TV, and running around in the streets of the outdoor sets.
I'm not too sure who had more fun though -- me or my mini-Koreans... hahaha.
QUESTION OF THE DAY...
Who ever said growing up had to mean maturing and losing out on fun?
QUOTE OF THE DAY...
I don't want to grow up, I'm a ToysRus kid.
-- ToysRus slogan
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
