As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A room full of bunkbeds is no fun without any other "monkeys" here to play with me, bumper chairs isn't quite fun without anyone else to bump into, and slippery floor skating isn't fun with no one here to slide into, so in my boredom I decided to become a ninja.
And with my ninja outfit on and butt-kicking on my mind, I decided what better thing to butt-kick than boredom's butt, so that's what I did.  Headed out for a late night kicka$$ run and kicked boredom's butt to the chilly curb.
I suppose that's why they don't allow coffee here, there's no real way to burn off the caffeine -- curfew at 11pm, no shops or any place open on campas, and there's not even a TV.  The only way to really burn it off is by exercising.  Mission completed.
