As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

It's official... I am THE coach.
Ok, so this whistle isn't the grand master's whistle or some grand prize, but I don't have a whistle and I really felt like quite the productive coach today.  By the end of this week, I will have taught floor hockey to about 12 all-girl teams, that's about 100 girls.
... and I love it!!!
The girls I've been teaching have been awesome.
I'm not too sure why they don't have me teach the boy's, nor do I understand why the boys don't get to play floor hockey, but honestly, I'm having way too much fun to care about that.
The girls have been simply terrific.  They show up not interested in the sport and end begging me to let them play five more minutes or constantly ask when they can play again.
You can always tell which girls in the cafeteria played floor hockey with me that day because they're the overly exhausted ones, passing out over their plates and sitting with sweaty hair.
Even my hockey mini-gals get gym nasty!!!
