As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

My first floor hockey team -- Team Texas.  Yah, Team Texas!!!
The A in the A-Team means Amy, as in Amy's team.  They gave me the cute honor of naming the team after me when I decided to become their much-needed player, to even the two teams out.  They were an AMAZING team to play with but I couldn't help but die laughing as one player continually said sorry every time she thought she didn't hit the ball good.  By far, the cutest and most energetic team yet!!!
This team, Team Sahmyook, proved to be quite the fierce competitor for the A-Team, ending the game in a 1:1 tie and begging me to go into overtime and have a sudden death.  I would have loved to do so, if it weren't for dinnertime.
