In looking up Hulk memorabilia to incorporate into our boxing club, I got sidetracked once I caught wind that there's a female hulk -- She-Hulk. I never did read comics when I was a kid beyond the odd issue of Archie Comics my friends would bring camping with us.
Apparently She-Hulk has been a member of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, Heroes for Hire, the Defenders, Fantastic Force, and S.H.I.E.L.D. For about a year, she had her own comic series with Marvel Comics, called The Savage She-Hulk, but it was a very short lived series after which she made only guest appearances in children books. I would have assumed she would have been spotlighted in a superhero love story. She was a highly skilled lawyer who served as a legal counsel for other superheros. So beauty AND brains, ya perhaps that's why she was never a feature in any love story. Apparently even male super heroes are intimidated by strong woman.
I'm quite liking She-Hulk but then I stumbled across her identity, who she really is.
She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner (aka the Incredible Hulk). She was the shy daughter of the Los Angeles County Sherriff and she was shot and seriously wounded by a crime boss. And, as the story goes, there were no blood donors available to aid her so her cousin Bruce (the Hulk) ended up being her donor. His radioactive blood mixed with hers and BAM, she became She-Hulk. When mobsters tried to finish her off at the hospital her lean, mean green side instantly showed itself.

Hmm... She-Hulk is the Hulk's cousin. With Snickers sporting the boxing nickname "The Korean Hulk" and me being his wife, incorporating She-Hulk into our Hulk theme at the boxing club won't work.
Then I stumbled across some more info about the Hulk. He had a girlfriend, Betty Ross, but she was terrified of him... ya, that would never work at our boxing club either. And then I read that the Hulk actually hooked up with another superhero, Thundra. They had a daughter together, Lyra, who was later nicknamed "She-Hulk" but ya, using She-Hulk the daughter... hmmm... that's right up there with using the terrified ex-girlfriend at my boxing club.
So then I went back to looking up info about Thundra. Who is this Thundra superhero lady?!
As the story goes, she's a warrior woman and time traveler from a place called Femizonia. It's a future 23rd century society. A matriarchal, technologically advanced future society where the men have been conquered and enslaved by women -- amazon-like females (Femizons)
[Oh yes... I'm definitely liking this lady!!!]
Her being freakishly strong, via genetic engineering, mixed with her martial arts and combat training that started way back in childhood make her a renowned powerful warrior woman -- the Empress of Femizonia. Originally she was in recruited into into the evil group of supervillains known as the Frightful Four and she actually battled the Hulk at one point, well in the wonderful world of comics that is. She ended up switching sides though and for a short time she had became a professional wrestler, joining a group of female wrestlers who all possessed so-called "cybernetic-endowed" superpowers.
I'm not quite how she went from battling the Hulk in public to romping around with him in between the sheets, in private, but I am very much interested in this superhero gal. Sorry Wonder Woman, but I think I'm sold on Thundra.
