As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Today marks DAY ONE of YEAR NINE for me here in K-Country and I say "BRING IT ON"!!!
I am totally stoked about why is ahead for me and am super stoked that I'm the one creating it.  From now on there is no more complaining about work, arguing with employers or frowning at a pathetic paycheck.  I won't be having a paycheck for, hmmm... maybe a year, but that's perfectly fine with me because I'm finally creating my chance to do something that I'm so very passionate about.
I've got eight solid years of life in Korea under my belt now, cool.  I really have no idea how many more years are in store for me here in Korea but I have absolutely no intention of leaving any time soon.  I have become a lifer.
