As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

I'm On a Mission -- to Catch-Up on Sleep... Monday, February 11

On account of the sleepless nights I've been slaving through with prep work for our boxing club, I decided to take today and sleep it away.  I had stayed up until 7am but when I headed to sleep I got distracted and stayed under my covers for another two hours, wide awake... dang that Pinterest!!!  Finally crashed just before 9am.

Around 1pm, Snickers woke me up to give me the foot massage I had won the other day from a little competition we had.  Unfortunately though, I fell asleep through it and I'm pretty sure he stopped once I did.  I think I was robbed, for sure!!!

It wasn't until a bit after 5pm that I woke up and got out of bed.

I stayed in pure lazy mode for a good two hours when I flopped on the couch and turned on the TV.  "Last Chance Harvey" was playing and I love that movie.  It's such a great non-expected kind of romance story and I love the two leading actors.

Anyways...

No mission today, boxing club work mission that is, on account of it being the holiday but I still insisted on doing some work.  Snickers called my advertising flyer "amateur" so instead of trying to tweek it, I scrapped the whole thing and started all over, fresh.  Not too sure on how I got stuck doing all the promotional and technical stuff for our company but that's ok.  I've been leaving the money negotiating and business contact dealings with Snickers.  Basically he does all the face-to-face business stuff and I do all the computer-related things, like business cards, members consent and release forms, and making an attendance check program on the computer.

I'm turning into a kind of tech-geek.

And then there's my Flipside Fitness March issue of The Fab Gals Gab magazine that I'm also trying to fit in, in addition to updating my own personal homepage, my bodybuilding friend's homepage, and the Flipside Fitness Facebook group page and official website.  Ya... I'm busy!

My computer is always on, BOTH of them -- my desktop and laptop.

By midnight I decided that if I didn't peel myself away from my computer and call it a night then I'd be pulling another all-nighter.  I was up for a total of 7 hours today, woozers, it surely didn't compare to the 25hr day I pulled the other day, or the 33hr day I had last week!
