As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Spent my day unexpectantly celebrating a new found friend's university graduation.
We originally had plans to go to La Cubo for a Valentine's dinner tonight but we opted to take my friends there for a late lunch, for "lupper" and celebrate both special occasions, together.
La Cubo was a huge hit with my friends, especially the cute waiter (who my friend claimed as her temporary Valentine) and the soup... hahaha.
My Valentine will always be Snickers but today I thought I'd share him.  Today he had five beautiful foreign females as his Valentine, what a spoiled guy;)  I share him a lot actually.  Just last week I let one of my Flipside gals place his face on the bowling pins.... oh... not quite the same thing I suppose... hahaha.

What initially started off as a phone call for help turned into a half day celebration with great food, awesome friends, and lots of giggles and smiles.
And of course lots of love.
