As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Sweet Start to the Day and a Sweet End to the Night

Honestly, this was exactly not the scene I was expecting at the start of this week's Monday but it was exactly the scene I needed.  Here sits one of my newest Hulkies, a member that is all too sweet.
Mondays are always super busy and today's crossfit classes were packed.
I hosted 8 classes today with the smallest one having only 4 participants and the largest one having 14.
Here they are waiting for me to show them the exercises to today's upper body circuit.
And here they are getting down and gym nasty with some wake up planks -- they're so good they're bad and so bad they're good.
Had just enough steam left in me to get in some great pad work at the end of the work day.
And then it was off to the restaurant for a post training meal when a friend showed up with his super car.
Monday nights are always a time to celebrate -- we celebrate getting through yet another busy Monday.
There were 7 of us -- talking business, boxing, training, and fight prep training.
