My husband is back [enter a huge hooray and happy smiles here].
He arrived shortly after 8am, when I was still very much half dead from the night before, and when he arrived he woke me up via a foot massage [enter me knowing I'm spoiled here].
His arrival home was sweet and the foot massage was super sweet but what was sweeter than sweet was news that I may be scheduled a fight -- October 10th in Thailand. My Busan buddy says he can arrange for it to happen if I want the fight but Snickers suggests me not to because of several reasons. I still have yet to officially sign with my new manager because he is currently out of country and now my Busan buddy, a fellow pro boxing champion whom I have business ties with, has taken it upon himself to try and take the reins of my boxing career in his hands. Moreover, I still have yet to figure out what's going on with KBA, KBC. and all the other boxing organizations that have branched off.
Regardless, word of fight possibilities were a great way to start my day.
Today is the start of a long weekend here in Korea so that meant I had the day off. With it being Friday, it almost meant I had the day off training. Snickers and I spent it pretty much lounging around the club and then it wasn't until late afternoon that we finally showered and headed out the door for some fresh air.
Just because it was a day off work and a day off training didn't mean it was entirely free of work-related things to do. Today we had to pay off some business expenses and bills, starting with the club's rent. Ouch, that was painful wiring such a chunk of money for all that. I vouch that today's lazy lounging was more like required recovery time for emptying out most of our bank account.
