As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

They Rather Eat Raw Eggs and Apples

This is what was put on my boxing club's juice bar counter at 11pm tonight -- a box of drowned-in-sugar donuts and sugar cakes.
I think my main sponsor was just as shocked too.
"Here, have some" he joked.
"Do I look like I eat donuts?!  I sure hope not!" I responded.
Nothing like laughing about a sticky situation that made everyone uncomfortable.
The funniest part of it all, of having all this "dirty food" on the table, was that members ended up eating a snack I was going to give to my dogs -- apple and raw egg.
I didn't know apples were bad for dogs until one member noted they were, nor did I know people would ever enjoy eating apples drowned in raw eggs, but such was the case.
