As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Running and Riding

In an effort to perhaps wake myself up for today's run, I wore my in-your-face bright training leggings but as I went to go snap my pic in a neighboring window, I couldn't help but feel like the ghost that haunts Hulk's Boxing.
To prove I am not see though, I looked down and snapped another shot... hahaha.
I can't say I was mentally into today's run.  I had indudged in a morning coffee curticy of one of my Hulkies who brought back hazelnut cappacinno from Vietnam and so I felt like I was somewhat on a sugar high.  My brain just couldn't focus; it felt as if it was rattling in my head.
Note to self, refrain from drinking coffee before any run.  It only leads to possible head dizziness and possible on-the-spot-need-to-poop.
My butt-kicking cool BMX bike has been yet to be driven outside so I'm loving cruising around the club on her.  Tonight one of my equally butt-kicking cool Hulkies jumped on and enjoyed a ride around the club via riding the trick pegs.
Yup, this is very much a part of my job -- being 34 and acting like I'm 12.
