As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Headed off to Koh Samed Island

Today we loaded a boat and headed off the mainland to an island, Koh Samed.
There we entered a tourist village that was loaded to the brim with gorgeous villas and resorts.
This was the villa were we stayed and our crew occupied three private houses and set up a tent.
This was my private house, number 30, and it look at the amazing tree outside of it!!!
No training today, or that's what they told me, so you see that boat... I swam out to it, twice.
Nothing like either drown or keep going to really fuel an intense workout!!!
Later in the day we jumped on our rented scooters and headed out for some fishing.
The view was incredible but the sun wasn't so nice on our bare shoulders.
Turns out we weren't just fishing though, we were fishing for our dinner which, as it surprisingly turned out to be, was very delish.  I'm not a huge fan of fish but my desperation for food kicked in.
In the evening, we headed out to a different part of the beach, to where we so happily noted there was free wifi... hahaha... and lots of crazy cool entertainment.
The beach was packed with cool, mellow mood-inducing restaurants and bars and live music.
It almost felt wrong walking into such a romantic, cool vibe with six dudes by my side
and it made me so eagerly miss Snickers.
Caught in some of the action from a live fire show.
That was pretty cool, dangerous to be standing so close and watching, but very cool.
