As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Busy, Busy, and Even Busier

Picked up a new PT client today so I headed over to her condo to train her.  Awesome gal.
Feeling just really blessed lately.  I'm no where I want to be just yet, with my business that is,
but I'm happy with what's becoming of my hard work and how my efforts are paying off.
Headed off to Poblacion to see that potential space I was interested in.  Upon seeing it a second time though, I realized that it is too small.  Left the space and explored a bit in Poblacion, taking the side streets and enjoying a little break in routine.

Arrived at KMC and, at first glance, I thought there was a misunderstanding.  Turns out the misunderstanding was in my favour and that the veranda (the rooftop patio) was closed off for Empowered.  My BoxHIIT Camp was the private event.  Very cool.
With it being a holiday here in the Philippines, most of my BoxHIIT ladies had the day off.  Instead of cancelling the training though, I decided to open it up to whomever among them could make it out.  Tonight I had two and these two got to be among the first to try on the new Empowered Slay hand wraps.
Then it was off to late night training for me.
And what's a workout without a little flexing?!  Exactly.  Flex shot!
