As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Long List of To Do's... Monday, December 9

I woke up this morning full of anxiety.  I have a billion, zillion things to do and so little time to do it all.  I've raised about 60,000Php for the HUGE Lil' Sistas Christmas and have successfully paid for some of the things off their Christmas Wish Lists but the hunt continues to find more of the items they asked for.  Easier said than done.

This time last year I was freaking out when my clients all started to cross the border and start their Christmas vacays early but this year I feel someone relieved by it.  It gives me more time to work on the Lil' Sistas Christmas event.

I haven't even began to prepare for Canada.

I haven't yet arranged for my dogs -- who is going to take care of them when I'm gone.
I haven't yet prepared my house -- do I get timers for the lights?  What about my plants?
I haven't yet prepared plans for Canada -- where am I spending Christmas? What about NYE?

All I'm planning right now, what I'm currently working on, is my Lil' Sistas Christmas.  Next weekend I'll be throwing one of two Christmas parties for them and as much as I say I want to just go with the flow and just have fun, I know I'm going to over plan it.

Right now my boxing is keeping me sane.
