As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

No Doubts Now... Monday, January 6

It was a bitter sweet moment leaving Canada.  I'm happy I came, I saw a lot of friends that I missed dearly, but I was also so happy to leave.  If there ever was a doubt as to whether or not my place is in the Philippines, no I have absolutely no doubt.

I love what I'm doing.
I love who I'm doing it with.
I love where I'm living.
I love my life.

And though I feel perhaps it is missing some components that would make me happier, like a few close friends and a home church, like I have in Toronto, what I have in the Philippines is more than I ever had living in Canada.  My quality and happiness in life is a million levels above it.
