1. Entered my Wisdom kindergarten class to discover THREE news students; Johnny, Jack and Charles. (I'll take a picture of them and add it to my blog tomorrow)
2. Ten minutes from the inital meeting, Johnny kissed me and John (my favorite little Korean) was all over him like white on rice for doing so. Apparently John thinks he's the only one allowed to kiss me. Now if only I could have had grown men fighting over me like this instead of two 4yr olds boys!
3. Realized, oh wait...I do have my own male fan club, here and in Canada.
4. Watched in pure amusement as the students went to go to class and were confused because of the fact that a whole classroom is missing (construction during vacation).
5. No gym (closed for vacation time till Wednesday), no Mook (moved back to hometown), and it's raining so I can't even go for a run... so it's a forced night off training.
6. My skin is peeling and so I resemble a snake shedding it's skin. Thankfully I had like 7 pairs of hands (Dream class) that eagerly wanted to put lotion on my shoulders for me. I love these kids! 7. Still no word from Paulo...maybe he didn't get married in drive through after all. Maybe he went for the whole 30min. church service.
8. Noticed that my readership has gone from two to SIX and some are even commenting (hint, hint to others...comment please).....now I feel bad for harassing my friends. No, I take that bad, I don't.
9. Realized AFTER teaching my lesson that I taught the wrong unit. I was a week early in starting it.....opps. I guess my mind is still on vacation.
10. Ending this post on a sad note....After posting, woke up to change it cause Paulo finally phoned me. Didn't know five minutes could totally change my perspective about "guys" and myself..
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.
