Can you tell I was bored?!... and by the way, no, those weren't ALL my lip glosses. I had some stashed away in my purse and in the bathroom. And don't even get me started with my chap stick collection... hehehe.
As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ok girl...so here is the deal. I have been thinking about that post you wrote several days ago where you basically outlined an eating plan with 5 meals. I am in the process of training for my first 1/2 marathon which I will run in June. The training is going well but the eating is not going so well. I have to get some of my weight off in order to run more than 5 miles.
So I am going to try your eating plan. I know you would like to write a training manual or are in the process so I could give you some feedback on the whole process. I can only promise to try, see what happens. The cravings might kill me dead, though!! Seriously worried about the cravings.....I LOVE SUGAR!! But I really want the 1/2 marathon to work out and I know the only way is a COMBINATION of eating and training.
So keep up the good work, share your ideas and trust me, your site is a motivator!!!
I love that song by MIA!
I wish i could hang with you!
I suggest buying a sudoku book or video games!
You have the internet right? Thats a lifetime worth of time wasting potential :P
-Your bro, Bman
I agree with what Tracey wrote about your site as a motivator. I want to try to stick to a better diet also along with my boxing. Thanks again Amy for your encouragement with my sparring. I'm going to spar two times this week with Shaun and I want to plan a few different things. It should be fun and challenging no matter what. I love your video with your doggie. So cute! :)
I forgot to sign it Amy. This is Beth of course. Sorry. :)
Hi Tracey,
A half marathon?! That's awesome!!! Thanks for the comments and compliments about my homepage. I really am happy to here that you're going to try my eating plan.
Yes, I am in the process of writing a book but considering I'm not a certified trainer or whatnot, I think I'll just stick to handing it out to friends. I let two friends see it so far, in hopes that they'd use my advice, but so far they haven't given me any feedback. It's been totally discouraging actually. Sooooo... having said that, I'm going to post a link to my help book on my Wednesday's entry when I update it today.
Read my book, see what you think, try it out and then PLEASE give me any and all feedback you could possibly give, that'd be a huge help to me!!!
All the best with the half marathon too!!!
Hey B-Man,
My dad LOVES sudoku... hehehe. I could be studying Korean more but instead I find myself dancing in my house with Mi Nam... hehehe.
Ya, I have the internet but I try not to be on it too much. My homepage is enough for me to do.
Hi Beth,
Thanks girl! I mentioned to Tracey (read above) that I'll be posting a link to my book in Wednesday's entry.
I envy you for all the sparring practice you're getting. For goodness sakes, I think my main sparring partner these days (Gangster Oppa) only spars with me cause it means he gets to touch my breasts.... hehehe... well, it's more like a punch but it's definitely contact... hehehe.
