As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Warming up... working up a sweet sweat... then more training; weight training.

Followed by exhaustion and pure satisfaction, knowing I'm doing my body good.

I am lovin' it how you look so fresh and full of energy in the first photo but by the last photo you're so beat. It really shows the hardwork and passion you put into your boxing and so it was great to see someone capture this on film for you. Keep training hard Am.

Hi Amy,
I completely forgot to tell you, yeah I’m going to Indiana to a conference or to learn a new accounting system at work. I work in accounting at a generic pharmaceutical company. It is only for two days but I’m going to stay over an extra day because I know some people out there. It should be good especially seeing a live match.
Sorry I forgot to mention this to you before. I love those pictures you put up. I always liked your flex shots too. Great arm definition.

Hi Casey,
Thanks girl. Ya, I love the last picture too. It really shows that it's not an easy sport.
And thanks... I will definitely continue to train hard!

Hey Beth,
I hope you have fun in Indiana. I've never been but hope it's fun for you. Don't work too hard when there. Be sure to have some fun on the side!
Thanks for commenting on my arms. Next time you go training try this out. Pick up two small weights and just try straight punches in the mirror. (There's a picture here with me doing this exercise)Not too sure if I shared that exercise with you before but it works wonders on your arms. Sometimes when I'm home and bored, I crank up the tunes and dance around the house with free weights in my hand, making sure to raise them high in the sky to really work my shoulders.
