As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).
After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.
Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hey Amy,
I sort of like the 2nd one best. The ring I mean but all of them are nice. Bling, bling, bling. :)

Hi Amy,
Sorry I haven’t written much lately. I had a cold for about a week and Kim my sparring partner had a slight sprained ankle (not from boxing) so we didn’t mix it up for a while. We are back sparring and it’s fun. We had a pretty good session last week. She says she should charge me for lessons pointing out my flaws. Very funny right :) :) She went easy the first few rounds but then stung me with some of her left jabs which I have a real problem with. She’ll put some extra on them sometimes and they do hurt but it’s my job to stop them which is a challenge. She is so fast too throwing a left followed by the right. Don't even see that one. :) Do I sound like a broken record sometimes? Hehheh.
It must be a lot of work arranging a fight in Japan but I hope you get to go and have a bout. Did you ever show any pics from your last match? You are a great inspiration Amy believe me for us amateurs who love boxing.
Beth
First ring is ok but not great. The third one with butterflies is really tacky and really cheesy. So i guess it's perfect!!
I find the 2 one also the best !...think he is made for you!
The buterfly's are to ...euhhh.soft ,for you!(more Paris Hilton style,he he )
The butterfly ring is cute but wearing that everyday? Definitively not comfortable. The others are better.
Hey Beth,
Bling-bling... hahaha, thanks ;)
Hey how's the cold? Is your sparring partner's ankle better yet?
Thanks for the continual support Beth, it really means a lot to me.
I'm still trying to figure stuff out with Japan. The Japan promoter is eager to book my flight and hotel room but now I'm dealing with the joys of immigration.
Hi Anonymous,
Tacky?! To each their own I suppose. Don't worry though, I won't be getting ring #3. At over $3,000 US I would never let Snickers buy it.
Hello Vbuuren,
Yes, I like the second one too.
Yo Anonymous,
Ya, I was thinking the same thing. I was actually more concerned with it killing the heck out of my outfits and scratching me.
