As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

This was the scene I walked into today -- the Adidas Korea office with my name on their board.
And what a scene it was -- Korea's very own champion boxer (my husband), Korea's only foreign female boxer (me), and Korea's newly appointed Adidas rep (Mr. Arciga). Representing Korean boxing and Adidas... what a wicked, wicked team to be on and supported by!!! I AM blessed.

Hey Amy,
Good luck with your Flipsidefitness and I hope it goes well. It should really do wonders for spreading the popularity of boxing and getting women to try it out and to keep fit.
Shauna put a clip of some of our sparring on youtube. It's pretty good except for a couple of knockdowns of yours truely. :) Oh well, it's part of learning I guess. :(
That's a nice picture of you by the way.
