As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Discovered pictures of my beautiful man on his scuba school's website.   Instantly I could pick him out.

When he asked me how I could so easily pick him out among the numerous photos, I told him "I'd know your hands and the back of your head anywhere."  That's him here, on the right with his mangled, stitched up, 9-times broken hand over his breathing apparatus.  He doesn't like his hands but I love them.  They've got such wicked character.
It was great to see him enjoying his time and doing such cool things but I miss him so much.  "Don't have too much fun without me" was the one rule I told him.

Before he left for the Philippines, I had written him a Korean love letter and hid it in his suitcase.  He stumbled across it the other day and took a picture of himself with it.  I miss him so much but when he sends me daily Kakao Talk messages like these I know he misses me too just as much;)
