Koreans may not be particularly friendly to
strangers but throw a group of fabulous foreign females on a mountain trail and
all of a sudden they are! On our hike
down the mountain we were greeted by so many Koreans. For the most part they’d say to hi to us and
continue on but there were many of them that asked us where we were from,
called us beautiful and even tried to stir up conversations with us as we
passed by or enjoy a mountain side snack.
Yes, a good looking woman can stop traffic
but a group of females, wow, we can stop traffic on a mountain… how cool is
that?! Hahaha…
Upon arriving downtown, we all parted our
ways. It was a bitter sweet
parting. It was obvious all the ladies
had enjoyed themselves and were having fun but it was also clear we all yearned
to take a shower and perhaps take a nap.
I know I napped. Didn’t
anticipate on napping but after my shower I kicked up my heels on the couch to
play with Balboa on my tummy and then it was lights out for me. Crashed for a good solid two hours, maybe
even three.
