As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

We're not too sure if we were even allowed to camp-out on Taedusan but I figured with our looks and our charm, we'd be able to get away with it... and we totally did;)

You know you're hardcore about fitness when you wake up after hiking all evening and start playing on the mountain top equipment before then having to hike all the way down... hahaha.  Gotta love the fun, fierce ladies of Flipside Fitness!

A beautiful mountain top view that was just a pretty as the crew of awesome ladies I stood there with.
And then there was the big, blue bridge.  I wasn't a fan of it but I kept my head held high and eyes focused on whoever was walking in front of me.
My favourite picture of the whole camp-out/hike.  I took this on our route down the mountain and it totally captured this weekend's event.  It was so great to pull off another event for Flipside Fitness and despite these ladies totally working up a sweat, they were so cheerful and smiley the entire time.  Talk about some wickedly cool women!!!
