As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

These are a few of my favourite random things around Ggum Guum...
You know I'm going to rank my four-legged friend at the top and with Snickers out on a little two-day trip with his boys, Balboa is definitely one of my favourites -- favourite sports-watching cuddle buddy, riverside play buddy, kitchen cooking side buddy... and the list goes on;)
One of his LEAST favourite things is apparently the fan. We don't have air condition here at Ggum Guum so the fan is always going. Turns out Balboa doesn't like that and, as I found out today, turns out he also knows how to do something about it. It's official, he's figured out how to turn the fan off!!! Can't get him to stop randomly peeing in the house but he can turn the fan off, go figure.

He totally gets away with it though, after all he is pretty darn cute;)

And then there is my fridge. With my heart apparently riding on my taste buds and abs being made in the kitchen, is it any wonder that my massive fridge is on my list?!

These are some of my MUST-HAVES.. first there's my whole grain mustard. I love, love, LOVE putting this on my scrambled eggs!!! The middle bottle (the red bottle) is a water flavoring syrup. This one is blue berry but it comes in other flavors. I use this to make frozen yogurt treats. And then, among my spices, I'm in love with rosemary, garlic salt, origano, and the Montreal chicken mixed spice.
