As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

After quite a busy day of totting these guys around city to city, they instantly passed out upon returning home.      Later in the evening I thought I'd slip away for a run.  I hadn't clocked in my long run last week so I headed out to do that tonight.
But this was what I returned home too.  I was ticked (hence the photoshop green face)!
It was kind of sad, seeing all my beautiful flowers chopped up and spread around the house like some kind of bomb had been placed in them.
Who is going to buy me flowers now?!
Turns out a little retail shopping helped me to put my flowers to rest.
Ok, so I didn't exactly go shopping, I went "Gmartketing".  I've been needing new shoes for some time and after last week's fall, woozers, I am definitely feeling the need for more heel cushioning.  Ordered these bad boys.
By the way, to any runners out there, do any of you track how many miles you've put on your shoes?  A pro star-like runner friend of mine told me about how she does.  I think it's a great idea.  Just how many miles till you call it quits for a pair of runners though?
