As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

There was a lot of celebrating at our house today which meant there was a lot of kisses and hugs for everyone, our four-legged friends included.
Snickers picked up Pyen Chi and gave her a little spin around.
Pacquiao got overly hyper with all the kissing and kept on trying to lunge at our faces.
This was basically the extent to Balboa jumping in on the excitement -- opening his eyes and giving us a bit of a kiss-lip.  We were disturbing his beauty sleep, apparently... hahaha.

And as if the anticipation of tomorrow wasn't exciting enough, I headed out for a run and killed my pacing!  I usually run at about 5:20min/km but I've been stressing to my running partners the importance of running out of your comfort zone -- checking your perceived level of exertion.
[note the "time" is off... I had to take a temp. pause.  A scooter delivery dude almost hit me on the path so I paused my app and ran after him to confront him.... hahaha... yes. I chase scooters.  It's an upgrade from me throwing oranges out my window at my old house... hahaha.]
