“Amy dirty girl”, said our interior coordinator… nice.
He doesn’t even speak English but today, upon seeing just how dirty today’s job had made me, he returned to call me dirty. It was no lie though, I got beyond dirty today. I spent all day dealing with 11 holes in the ground, spots where either a mirror or part of the flooring had been removed. I looked like I had walked through one seriously crazy sand storm and trying to brush myself off proved to be useless, as did using the air gun on myself.
“Amy dirty girl”… yes, thanks. That was me. Now I know why construction workers where the same thing every day. I was completely covered and my face had not escaped the nastiness of my dirtiness. I’m sure I must have had a good layer or two of sand on my face because I tasted sand in my mouth all day. I was spitting sand… gross.
The wallpaper man came today so I sat there going through a massive book of wallpaper samples, picking and pondering colours.
Juice Bar – a very cool, ultra fresh orange
Mini Pro Shop – blue
Relaxing Room (aka Pyen Chi’s room) – a pale violet
Change Room – light green
The runners in the main part of the club – green
Got the official word that we can announce the name of our boxing club and I was absolutely thrilled. I've been waiting since DECEMBER to let it out to everyone!!! So here it is, our name....
As soon as I got home from renovating at the club, I launched both the company and group Facebook page. I've been waiting so long to launch them too!!! Felt so good to let the cat out of the bag with our name... soooooooo good!
