As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Our morning started off on a rough note -- Coolio getting on our case about "how easy" it'd be for us to pay someone to clean the side of our building and then an arguement regarding the interior design. Sent Snickers out to deal with Coolio and then "peace offerings" showed up on Lady Ghini's dashboard.
I had some computer work to do but while I was doing that in the car I came across this when I dropped my cell phone -- a family picture taken at my sister-in-law's wedding.
Snickers says I was asked by K-Gere to stand behind him for all the shots because I'm one of his favourite... sweet.  Perhaps I am, I don't know, but he's been coming here and working all day with our workers for about a week now.
I'm convinced Snickers knows everyone and anyone but it was me who had the awesome hook-up this morning when we walked into the hardware shop and who should be working there but an amateur boxing I used to help out at training.  He gave me his employee discount and I winked at him.
Testing out door handles for our lockers turned out to fun and definitely more fun than testing out the toilets like we did the other day.
I enjoyed the furniture testing today -- I was like Goldilocks jumping from couch to couch.  This couch fit just right so we bought it.  The 60% discount our friend gave us definitely helped to make many of the furniture fit just right... thanks buddy!!!
Even Pyen Chi got in on today's awesome discounts and big scores.  We figured that with her starting work next week, we'd treat her to something that'd up her fierceness and give her a bit of toughness -- a silver studded collar.  It's quite the cool collar though I'm sure she probably would have preferred the prime rib steak I was treated to for lunch by La Cubo.  Sorry Pyen Chi, next time we'll do "rock-paper-scissors" for things.
