As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Quality friends but talk about cheap labor!
$40 chicken and drinks % 5 people = $8 each person
$8 % 4hrs of work = $2 hourly rate
The chicken and drinks were originally just for them but they asked Snickers and me to eat with them, thus bringing their hourly pay down from $3.33 to only $2.  Either way though, still super cheap labor... hahaha.

Their hourly pay ended up going down even more when they started feeding Jinju (the dog) some of their chicken.  We shortly fired though after she brought back horrid flashbacks of our once poop-infested building by doing a "number 3" on the floor... nasty girl!
Despite the "cheap" labour and distractions that came with working with good friends, we were quite the productive crew tonight.  While the guys worked on the flooring, Cheetoh Girl and I got to work putting together and arranging the furniture.
The whole dispute about the girls changeroom vs. office resurfaced somewhat so I was quick to take claim of the room and set up my office.  Here's me staking claim to the room.
And here's me lecturing King Kong about the importance of working out beyond just doing it for the ladies.
We called it a night around 3am.  The furniture that had been delivered was now all arranged accordingly and the floor padding had all been unrolled and laid out, ready for tomorrow's "fun task" of glueing it to the tile.
