As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hulk's was buzzing with boys today and lots there of them... professional fighting boys too!!!
In this picture there are four of us boxing club coaches, one trainer and one Hulk's member.

Outside of Hulk's, the streets were buzzing with festival-goers.
Snickers and I checked it out and found a delish Turkish kebab and ice cream stand where the Turkish guys didn't speak a lick of English so we chatted in Korean.
In the afternoon I raced through Sambu, posting a Hulk's flyer on every single doors -- close to 400 doors!
Then in the evening I caught some laughs and friends at a local bar where one of my boxercise guys was hosting a comedy show.  Almost ended up showing off my boxing skills when the table behind us repeatedly showed off their lack of manner skills.
Then it was back to the boxing club where the "club" in "boxing club" was exercised.
And then it was up to the rooftop for reality check in committing to be fit.
