As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Outside of Hulk's there is a lot going on.  This weekend there's a street party happening so they've been busy setting up their massive stage.
In exchange for TV coverage and shout-outs, we've allowed the festival company to use our side parking lot for the event.  Note our WICKED vantage points -- our windows overlook both the front and side stages.

And while they were busy setting up the outside stages we were having a bit of fun before we got down to work.  I love having Pyen Chi come to work with us; she's an awesome side kick.
Pyen Chi prefers to go oh-natural but I thought I'd have some fun dressing her up.  She couldn't fit into my jacket so she sported Snickers.  Then we thought it amusing to stand in the club's front window and pretend we're mannequins.  Boy did we get a ton of looks... and laughs, hahaha.
