As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Speaking of superheros, tonight we took Cutie Patootie out for her a special dinner.
Both Snickers and I think she oozes with awesomeness.
Unfortunetaly our last memory with her didn't revolve around her being impressed by the food our friend King Kong created for us at his restaurant.
She was greatly amused by it though and we had a lot of fun watching her make a meal out of the lemons and letting the live food suck on her chopstick... hahaha.

The three of us headed out for dinner tonight because this Tuesday she'll be leaving Korea.  Originally she was contemplating staying an extra three months and then her leave date got pushed even closer, so close in fact that we got only but a week's notice.

"I wish sours go and good girls stay" Snickers noted to me after we drove her home.  "Me too" I said, "but I guess you have to have the sour to know the sweet."
