As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

As I move from just doing Flipside Fitness to adding Hulk's to my life, guys have been added to my crew. And with today it being the kick off of our soft opening for Hulk's, it was a busy day but it was full of awesome friends, new members, and lots of crazy positive energy.
Many friends dropped by today to tell us congrats on the club and I was so thrilled to be given a 'club-warming' gift -- two plants from two of my sweet friends.  Now Cino doesn't sit by the window alone, he's got Rolee and Sted to keep him company.
Finally got back to teaching boxercise and it felt so good.  It's been way too long.
... TWO boxercise classes today.  It was a much-needed overdose of fabulocity!!!
Then, to cap off our amazing first day of work, we headed out to celebrate.
This may be the only meal out we can afford for a while though I doubt we can afford it right now but it only seemed fitting and deserving to end our first day -- an amazing day -- with an equally great meal.
