As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

We're supposedly on a date but guess where we are.
Did I honestly shave my legs and put on a push-up bra only to haul furniture in stiletto heels?!
When we did finally head out on our date, we showed up at our once-secret spot and apparently it's awesomeness is no longer a secret, boo to that.  It's now some kind of outdoor water playground thing-a-ma-bob.  I guess no more kissing water side for us, BIG boo to that!
Our date consisted on simply indulging in some lakeside coffee and chatting.  I say "indulging" because with the debt we keep on putting ourselves in with setting up Hulk's, a five dollar coffee is definitely a splurge for us.

Dancing under Hulk's Halo after a sweet day date and visiting a friend's restaurant opening party.
We had some furniture to unpack that had arrived earlier today and tomorrow's renovation plans to discuss.  We then we decided to dim the lights, switch on the mellow ones so we could relax.
This is my kind of bar and no it's not because I can't afford to attend any other kind of bar right now.  This bar is perfect for me -- our juice bar -- where the drinks are protein-packed and the only six pack to graze this counter are the six packs we'll be sporting!!!
