As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Busting at the Seems with Work... Tuesday, June 4

I thought the other week we had our busiest day but that failed in comparison to today... woozers!!!

Our first member at training today came at 2:35pm and then followed a group of four new members wanting to sign up, pay and start training right that minute.  From then on it was go-go-go for us with our club averaging 11-13 people training at any given hour, right up to midnight.

Yesterday we kicked off our Crossfit Circuit Training classes -- they run everyday from Monday to Friday -- and of course we have our daily boxercise classes too.  With the exception of Friday, we have two boxercise classes a day and one Crossfit Circuit Training class.  Come the 20th of this month though, our awesome full time assistant will be here, teaching another Crossfit Circuit Training class, working the juice bar with me and helping out where ever and with what ever.  I can't wait.  Right now it's basically just Snickers and I trying to juggle the waves of people that come to our club, training them all and greeting visiting guests.  And then, what's more "fun" than managing a massive club than keeping it clean, woozers.  That in itself is a rough job.  Vacuuming and washing the floor, this alone takes well over an hour.

Today we were so busy that after I cooked my dinner, it sat on the juice bar for a bit over an hour, starring at me and taunting me.  I must have wolfed that meal down and no sooner had I done so but I was hungry again.  If you thought I ate a lot before, yikes, I eat like a beast now!!!
